Overview

Each Sacred Protocol node is a localized expression of spiritual, ecological, and sociotechnical inquiry. Nodes function as both sites of ritual and mechanisms of memory—linking history, symbolic systems, and collective responsibility.

This methodology guides our process, especially as we expand into new geographies and deepen our relational, transdisciplinary approach.

PHASE 1: Knowledge Sourcing

Objective: Ground the node in real histories, communities, and lived experience.

Inputs may include:

• Local PDFs, archives, oral histories
• Environmental data (street names, watershed maps, industrial byproducts)
• Interviews or offerings from residents
• Zines, pamphlets, signs, or resistance materials
• Public monuments and their counter-narratives

Outputs:

• Documented source list
• Summary of historical and cultural context
• Timeline or map of relevant events
